How does it work?

 

Once you register the registration page of this site, you will gain access to the Hotel Tech ROI.com virtual event on 17-18 November 2009.   

Please view the video here. This will show you how you will be able to navigate the conference and exhibition and explain how to maximise your personal experience at the event.

 

How will I engage and network with people at the event?

 

There are a variety of ways that you can interact with people during the two days. The key to online interaction will be the communications lounge.  Here there will be a variety of scheduled, topic driven networking chats over the two days, as well as live chat discussion boards.

There is also a private chat function where you can search through all delegates logged in and send them a private instant message to engage with them directly.

 

Will I be able to speak with exhibitors?

 

You will be able to chat with the exhibitors/service providers in the exhibition hall. You can do this be via group and private booth chats.

 

What if I can’t attend for the entire day can I still register?

 

Convenience is the true benefit of a virtual conference. Unlike a real conference, a virtual event allows you to login and out.

Although we do understand that your schedule is busy sometimes we do encourage that you try to attend the full two day program to get the most out of this virtual event.

If you can not attend the full day you will not miss out. All presentations will be available ‘on demand’ to view at a time most convenient to you.

 

Do I have to log in at the time of the presentations?

 

No.  All presentations will have a ‘live’ time scheduled for the main agenda.  Following the presentations there will be an interactive Q and A session where you can comment and debate on the issues currently affecting the industry.

 

How do I access materials at the event and can I take them away?

 

During the event you will have a ‘show briefcase’; you can use this to simply add any materials you wish to take away from the event such as white papers, PDF’s and video’s. At the end of the show you can simply download your ‘show briefcase’ to your computer.

     

What’s the catch! Is this event really free?

   
 

Yes.  It is free for Hotel professionals. All that we ask is that you provide us with a few details and then join us on 17-18 November 2009.
